These changes are due to the Devon Movable Bridge project, a partnership between CTDOT and Metro-North, and the resulting reduction in train capacity on the line. As a result, the number of trains operating between Bridgeport-and Waterbury will be reduced from 15 weekday trains to 13 trains as follows: WEEKDAYS Outbound from Bridgeport to Waterbury: The 8:52 a.m. departure from Bridgeport is changed to an 8:10 a.m. departure The 4:48 p.m. departure from Bridgeport is changed from a train to a substitute bus service, both express and local The 5:51 p.m. departure from Bridgeport is changed from a substitute bus to a train that departs at 5:48 p.m. The 6:46 p.m. departure from Bridgeport is changed from a train to a substitute bus service, both express and local The 8:54 p.m. departure from Bridgeport is changed to an 8:10 p.m. departure There are minor en route schedule adjustments of 2-6 minutes; check your station's schedule for full details.
